Hinterland and KLK Landbou Group are both retail businesses specialising in the supply of quality products for various farming practices. Hinterland offers a wide range of agricultural and convenience products tailored to meet the needs of farmers as well as the general public. KLK Landbou Group operates retail branches and Build It stores, providing essential supplies for both agricultural and construction needs.

Hinterland is a leading retail destination offering a diverse range of products. Through its stores, Hinterland serves customers with a wide variety of items, including animal care products, outdoor equipment, clothing and footwear, DIY tools, garden essentials, household necessities, irrigation solutions, and personal protective equipment for safety and security. Additionally, Hinterland’s construction and storage division provides feed, building materials, fencing and steel, gas, wood, lubricants, maize meal, tanks and troughs, treated poles, wrapping and packaging materials, crop protection products, fertilisers, and seeds.
Agricultural retail branches and Build-It stores
KLK Retail operates a network of 19 retail branches, excluding Build It, that cover a substantial geographical area from Pofadder in the west to Kuruman in the east, reaching Rietfontein in the north and Calvinia in the south. In addition to their retail locations, they also offer four Build It building material concessions in Upington, Kathu, Kuruman, and Postmasburg. For customers in Calvinia, there is the convenience of an in-store Build It section available. Their newest addition is KLK Petworld in Kathu.
KLK Retail understands the diverse needs of farmers, agricultural professionals, and hobbyists. Their retail branches are well-stocked with a comprehensive range of agricultural products.
